Localization Editing (Japanese to English)
I review English translations against their Japanese sources for accuracy, clarity, tone, and style, rewording text into natural-sounding English where necessary. Depending on the project and client, I may work closely with translators to improve translation precision and consistency, with proofreaders to prepare and finalize files for publication, and with localization staff to meet editorial standards and deadlines. I edit in Microsoft Word, Google Docs, Adobe Acrobat, and Adobe InDesign, and I am also familiar with Adobe Photoshop and Illustration as well as Clip Studio Paint.Line Editing and Copyediting
